IN THE ARTIST'S WORDS:

I was born on a naval base in Virginia in 1952.  The Abstract Expressionists had the art world by the throat.  Jackson Pollack had already been featured in Life and Vogue magazines, but his art still wasn’t selling.  The Rosenberg’s had been found guilty of Espionage and Conspiracy.  Marlon Brando had starred in A Street Car Named Desire and Harry Truman was still President.  It was the beginning of the Modern Era, the Atomic Age, the Cold War and Rock and Roll.

I was influenced by everything--the English Invasion, Pop Art, advertising--you name it. I was an enthusiastic participant in the counter-culture.  I “came out.”  Life was an adventure with a new experience around every corner.

Then came Astrology, the Tarot, Shamanism, Chakra Healing, and Gurus.  The New Age had taken form and I took a big bite.

IIt was only natural that it came time for me to find my own voice. I began my dual careers as a Spiritual Counselor and Artist. That was over 25 years ago. Now there are new friends, old friends, family and SPIRITUAL GRAFFITI. The adventure continues. All we have to do is open our hearts and minds.
